Over the past 18 years, I have seen a myriad of titles printed on my business cards; all of them a variation on the same theme: helping businesses define who they are, what their brand story is, and, once the story has been articulated, the best ways to talk with the people who need to hear the story.
The very core of what I do is problem-solving. I help people overcome challenges and barriers to success. These challenges and barriers are typically rooted in the definition of goals and communication with the right communities. I have worked with a number of organizations to do just this: Define marketing communications strategies based on alignment of their brand to their business objectives. I've had the fortune of doing this work with some of the leading creative groups in North America including Identica Branding & Design (A Cossette Group), Ove Design & Communications (A Publicis Worldwide Group), The Taylor Group, and Maritz Canada Inc.
In 2008 Identica Branding & Design, hired me to help build and lead the client service team of their Toronto office. Simply put, this means I ensure everything is done with exceptional quality, creativity and results.
In addition to working with some outstanding creative groups, I've also had the great fortune of learning some significant lessons in building brands and business from people who really know their stuff. Some of these people (a.k.a. clients) include: Microsoft, Rogers, AstraZeneca, Bombardier, Adobe, Research in Motion, Nortel, Wal*Mart Canada, Grand & Toy, Altamira and Cryptologic.
In addition to what I do, I think it's also important that you know WHY I do this work. I love it. Pure and simple. I'm fascinated by the process and learn new things every day. And if I can share that knowledge with you and it helps your business grow, well then we're all happy.
